About FMPR

A consulting firm based on Kauai, Hawaii and in the Greater Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania

About Us

We’re a full-service PR/communications consulting firm on Kauai, Hawaii and in the Greater Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.  In serving clients for more than 20 years, we’ve come to know that all successes are owed to great relationships.  This is why everything we do as consultants involves helping you relate authentically and deeply to your publics.

Many people think that PR is about “spin” or presenting a fake image. Good public relations is about putting forth who you really are in a truthful way with the purpose of a positive outcome. If you boil PR down to its essence, that’s all it is: relating well to your publics.

We focus on creative, relationship-based, charitable ways for you to love and be loved by your constituents, from customers to employees, donors, and more. One of our specialties is integrating philanthropy into your business plans so that both you and the community benefit.

Take a look at our client list and you’ll see we’ve served many sectors of the economy and all different types of commerce from family businesses to large corporations, government, and nonprofits.

FMPR’s Partners & History

Jenny and Joy founded FMPR in 2000.  Jenny is Pennsylvania born and raised and Joy is a fifth-generation Kauai resident.  Together, we know the intricacies of small, multicultural, rural communities and especially, Hawaii’s one-of-a-kind business environment. As active members of the communities in which we live, we have strong relationships, first-hand knowledge, and accurate insights on economic, community, and business issues. Communities, like people, are complex and diverse, and understanding is the first step toward a meaningful relationship.  Likewise, relationships are the first step toward business success. Focusing on relationship building for our clients, we are able to boost the effectiveness of traditional PR tactics for high-impact results anywhere, anytime.
