We’re a Kauai-based public relations and communications consulting firm serving clients throughout Hawaii and Bucks County, Pennsylvania. For more than 25 years, we’ve come to know that lasting success is built on great relationships. JENNY FUJITA ALDERFER
Jenny Fujita Alderfer has more than 30 years of experience in communications, philanthropy, and organizational development. She advises clients on fundraising, capacity building, business development, crisis communications, and strategic communications campaigns.
Before co-founding FMPR, Jenny served as the public information officer for the County of Kauai; the public relations and communications specialist at Kauai Electric; the director of development for a nonprofit organization; and an advertising account executive. She also served on the Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs Cable Advisory Committee.
Jenny earned her bachelor’s degree,cum laude, in psychology, with minors in studio art and religion from Bucknell University. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in theology at the University of Aberdeen.

JOY MIURA KOERTE
Joy Miura Koerte is a trusted public relations and corporate philanthropy advisor. As a fifth-generation Kauai resident and active member of the community, Joy’s close relationships with community leaders, organizations, and residents shape her thoughtful approach to helping clients communicate authentically and engage with care.
Joy earned her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, in public relations and an emphasis in business from Pepperdine University. She has extensive experience in both in-house and agency public relations. She is a past chair of the Kauai Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and has served on the Hawaii Community Foundation Kauai Leadership Council, the Kauai Community College Waialeale Project Advisory Committee, and the PBS Hawaii Board of Directors.
